The database is part of the research on the Tabula Peutingeriana at the Chair of Ancient History. The project was funded by the German Research Foundation between 2017 and 2023 (https://gepris.dfg.de/gepris/projekt/319254113). PD Dr. Silke Diederich (Cologne) and Prof. Dr. Monika Schuol (Kiel) were employed as researchers as part of the DFG project. Various PhD students are currently involved.
