Commentary on the Toponym:	Kommentar (Talbert): -> Stretch to ANTIOCHIA The linework for this stretch is not marked. It seems a reasonable conjecture that the mapmaker drew a route into ANTIOCHIA from here (see BAtlas 67 C4); perhaps it was later overwhelmed by the elaborate symbol. Miller, Itineraria, Sp. 754: Pagaris, Pagris (It), mansio Pagrios (Hi); j. Bagras. Es fehlt die Zahl 16 (It) samt Verbindungsstrich, beide ausgefallen wegen Raummangel für das große Bild. 3mp vor Antiochia ist Hippocephalus (Am – Orientis aspicem pulchrum) Miller, Itineraria, Sp. 765: Pagaris, Pagrae — Πάγραι(St, PI, It, Hi), Padas (Ra), τὸ Παγράς (Cedren) ; zu Pieria gehörig. Hier a. 145 v. Chr. Schlacht zwischen Demetrius Nicator und Alexander Balas; j. Bagras.
