Commentary on the Toponym:

Kommentar (Talbert):
The very hesitant identification by BAtlas reflects the fact that this river should be crossed before reaching Cyanes; but the mapmaker (who shows no river hereabouts) may not have been aware of that.

Miller, Itineraria, Sp. 652:
Tassiros, Tasbiros (Ba — Thabyrrus — bei den Lazii — zwischen Chobus und Ciameis, Gu), Tarsuras (Pl, Arr); j. Gagida am Fluß Gagida. Nicht Tschoricha Fluß (Mü).

Miller, Itineraria, Sp. 840:
Tassiros, Station der Strecke 91, Tarsuras (Arr, Pl); j. Gagida.
