Commentary on the Toponym:

Kommentar (Talbert):
It is not clear whether the name should be regarded as one word or two. No stop follows "Tris" (though that in itself is not a sure sign that a word is incomplete), and it is surely likely that a copyist deliberately held over "peda XLV" to the start of the next parchment (thus placing them beyond this stretch).

Miller Itineraria, Sp. 781:
Tris peda (Die Trennung des Wortes: Sch, Ma, Pd, Kt rührt von der Einteilung der Pergamentstücke her; Irrig Tris. Peda (Bt, Bg, Ve). Tarspedo; j. bei Marand; n.a. Täbris. 45

Datierung (Barrington):
Trispeda – Late Antique (ItMiller 781)

[PK: Auf der 1888 Photographie ist die Meilenangabe deutlicher erkennbar]
