Commentary on the Toponym:	Kommentar (Talbert): Miller rightly reads the name as "Corvilv", not "Corivlv". The distinguishing feature of "v" is the thickness of its righthand upper stroke with a top flourish; "i" lacks the latter. Miller, Itineraria, Sp. 739: Coruilu, Gorbilon (Ra); j. gegenüber von Gelinder, am Tigris; nach R Kp Sartshaf, ein paar km flußaufwärts. Dazwischen liegt Arghana Maaden, Kupferbergwerk.
