The fork in the route created by the missing linework to Barbalisso could serve to mark the start of the stretch. Miller, Itineraria, Sp. 759: Eraciza1 , Eraiza (Ra — in Syrien); j . Ruinen in Abu Ha - naja , etwa 8 km vom Euphrat zurückliegend. In der Umgegend mehrfach Ruinen. Die folgenden Stationen bis Sura sind in beinahe östlicher Richtung; wenn mit Ra II 5 (in Persien) identisch, dann direkt östlich. Dieselbe Strecke hat Ra II 15 in Syrien, hier unzweifelhaft hiehergehörend, aber nach einer anderen Quelle. 16a .
