Auf hier gefundenen Iss - CIL VIII 907. 910. 11170. 11172 - findet sich der name Segermes; municipium (I: CIL VIII 907 - hier gefunden). Bischöfe werden genannt aus den Jahren: a. 255 (Harduinus - Nicomedes a Segermis), a. 641 (Fleix episcopus sanctae ecclesiae municipii Segermitensis). Der Ort führte also einmal den Namen Segermes und ist nicht identisch mit Bibae.] 16. Kommentar (RE): https://elexikon.ch/RE/III,1_389.png Bibae (beim Geogr. Rav. Von Tissot Géogr. comparée de l’Afrique II 557 vermutungsweise mit den Ruinen Henchir Bir el-Fauwâra (CIL VIII p. 1166), irrtümlich früher mit Henchir Harât (ebd. p. 1164) identifiziert.
