This name and the three below it (ending with Lvgdvno) should really each be placed one stretch lower; but the copyist no doubt wanted to be sure of fitting in the words that follow Lvgdvno without overrunning either the route to the left or the river to the right.

Kastell bzw. Siedlung in der Gallia Lugdunensis an der Via Agrippina (Itin. Anton. 359,5), h. Tournus (Dép. Saône-et-Loire). Es existierten zwei Siedlungen: T. vetus, der urspr. keltische Ort und spätere röm. vicus auf dem h. Muret de la Mousse, einer Insel im Arar (Saône); T. novum, h. Tournus, die Neugründung auf dem rechten Ufer des Arar zw. Cabilonnum (h. Chalon-sur-Saône) und Matisco (h. Mâcon; Itin. Anton. 359,5). T. novum erhielt in der späten Kaiserzeit ein castellum, von dem Reste erh. sind. Die urspr. Straßenstation mit Proviantmagazinen entwickelte sich zur Siedlung. Dort wurde Clodius [II 1] Albinus von Septimius [II 7] Severus im J. 197 n. Chr. geschlagen (SHA Sept. Sev. 11). Es gibt wegen der starken Überbauung nur wenige Funde.
