This unnamed stretch, and the one immediately following, illustrate the extreme distortions that the map`s design can produce. Together (with no break marked), they are approximately 9.5 ins (24 cm) in length, to represent 13 miles on the ground.

Toponym vorher: Ad Dianam
Toponym nachher: unnamed / illegible, no. 17 (2C3) Rekonstruktion: Schwer rekonstruierbar, da Diana (It 34,3; 35,4) zwar im Itinerar belegt ist, aber nichtfür die Strecke Diana – x – x – Lampsili, das nicht im Itinerar auffindbar ist. Dennoch ist es an dieser Stelle hochwahrscheinlich, dass Orte ausgefallen sein müssen, da sich die Meilenangaben noch an dieser Stelle befinden. Der BAtlas weist gebirgiges Gelände auf (BAtlas 34 E2).
