Argument for Dating:	Benennung nach Prusias I. von Bithynien, ca. 230-182 v. Chr., der die Stadt nach der Zerstörung 202 v. Chr. wieder aufgebaut hat. Ab Claudischer Zeit nahm die Stadt zwar offiziell wieder ihren alten Namen Kios an, jedoch blieb der Name Prusias noch bis in frühbyz. Zeit in Gebrauch, z. B. Ptol. 5,1,4, Mart. Cap. 6,68 und Steph. Byz.
Commentary on the Toponym:	Es handelt sich um denselben Ort wie 8B2/3 Cio. Für weitere Informationen und Literatur s. den Artikel dort. Kommentar (Talbert): -> Stretch to Cio The linework for this stretch is not marked. In view of the placement of the distance figure XXI, the natural presumption must be that it refers to a Prvsias-Cio stretch.
