The start of this stretch is not marked.
If Rababatora is correctly identified with Areopolis, then this seems a strange route indeed, to judge by BAtlas Maps 71 and 70, especially for travelers who wanted to go, say, from Petra to Jerusalem. Even if they did persevere as far as Thamaro, a subsequent diversion through Elvsa would seem to make little sense. There is a notable cluster of stretches with high distance figures hereabouts.
