Kommentar (Talbert):
With ItMiller 372 (compare BAtlas 45 A2-D2), there is good reason to think that the link drawn between Foro novo and unnamed symbol #42 is a mistake. Possibly it was made by the mapmaker, but a copyist`s addition seems more likely. If the Foro novo stretch was originally a horizontal deadend (like Statvle in 5B2) with linework extending down from it, it could easily be linked - by accident or design - up to unnamed symbol #42 also.

Foro novo, it. (Ra), Forno novo (Hi); j. Montemale oder S. Arcangelo Trimonti. Iss: 6357. 6358, ferner die Iss von Ariano und Umgebung, s.o. 12, it. (Hi); es sind ca. 8. Bei Buonalbergo 1 Meilenstein mit Entfernung 13, bei Casalbore ein solcher mit Entfernung 16 von Benevent gefunden (CIL IX 6008. 6009).
